TWiB Notes with the voice of the great Mel Allen IS baseball in my brain. As a kid, the sound of the familiar theme song and the dulcet tones of Mel meant it was summer. (and that the Texas Rangers were at least 9 games out of the AL West lead probably, not anymore btw)
